Organized in 2008, the Society has grown from a small group of volunteers into a vital institution managing two significant historic sites. Our work is driven by volunteers dedicated to ensuring that the stories of the past are not forgotten and that continuing stories are shared with residents and visitors of today!

Given our commitment to preserving the history of Travelers Rest, we are thrilled to announce the Society has received the Spring Park Inn home and surrounding 20 acres of property in the heart of Travelers Rest. We’re honored that the owner, Mrs. Nell Anderson Gibson, entrusted this treasure to us.
