Join the Travelers Rest Historical Society
Become a member of the Historical Society to learn more about, preserve and share information about the entire span of history of greater Travelers Rest and northern Greenville County!
Your membership funds the activities and projects of both our Historical Society, the History Museum of Travelers Rest and the Spring Park Inn historic home and property. Membership donations provide what’s needed to keep these facilities open (utilities, insurance, security systems, maintenance, and publicity), as well as office supplies, postage and communications so that the Historical Society can share the story of Travelers Rest with our members, our community and beyond.
Membership is active for twelve months, January 1-December 31 of each calendar year. Anyone joining or renewing membership in the last three months of the year (October-December) will be credited with membership for the entire year to come. As a 501(c) 3 organization, memberships and donations are tax deductible.

- Individual — $25
- Family — $40
- Patron — $100
- Benefactor — $250
- Lifetime Member — $500
- Business Friend — $50
- Business Partner — $500
The purpose & mission of the Historical Society is to:
- Bring people together who are interested in Travelers Rest area history
- Broaden historical knowledge among youth and adults
- Preserve, and encourage others to preserve, valuable historical material and property
- Sponsor special interest events serving both the society and the community
